About Alison Miller

  • In the 1980s, as Vice-President of Trenton Area NOW, I interviewed candidates for the NJ legislature who were interested in receiving support from NOW, providing me an introduction to New Jersey politics.
  • I have helped in various campaigns, letter-writing, phone-banking, and going door-to-door for candidates; most recently, going door-to-door for Rep. Andy Kim, who just won a close election.
  • I have marched and campaigned in support of abortion rights and women’s rights.
  • I have run for township-wide office in West Windsor six times, winning a seat on Township Council four times.
  • I have served on the Mercer County Democratic Committee as a Committeewoman for West Windsor District #5 since 1992, winning two contested and 12 uncontested district elections.
  • Last year Andrew Romanelli and I ran for re-election to the County Committee on a platform to elect Democratic candidates who stand for good.
